Job Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:
Responsible for support of floor operations and quality to ensure conformance to the Customer specific requirements.
(These qualifications represent the minimum requirements of the position. Employees will be required to possess the ability and aptitudes to perform the duties proficiently.)
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:• Quality technician training and/or experience (other relevant experience may be substituted at the Quality Manager's discretion)• Must have experience using standard measurement, inspection, and test equipment in the inspection of sheet metal parts and assemblies.• Computer knowledge and skills (including CMS).• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.• Knowledge of SPC as it relates to sheet metal stampings and assemblies.• Analytic /problem-solving abilities.• Organizational skills and abilities• Mechanical skills and knowledge.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Some of the physical demands of this position include sitting for prolonged periods of time, walking up and down staircases, occasional lifting, and occasional stooping and bending.• Ability to lift 30 pounds• Ability to stand for long periods
EQUIPMENT / TOOLS USED:• Various gages, hand tools, and software's as required.
KNOWLEDGE:• Quality / Welding / Manufacturing principles
EDUCATION: • High School Diploma or GED.• Above average computer skills.• Must have experience with Quality principles.• Knowledge of SPC as it relates to sheet metal stampings and assemblies.• Must have experience using standard measurement, inspection, and testing equipment in the inspection of sheet metal parts and assemblies.
