  • Proactively addressing emerging regulatory and compliance risks
  • Streamlining implementation and delivery of new and evolving processes
  • Maximizing user experience and promoting self-service
  • Building expertise and agility into the CQ workforce to create a "best place to work" environment

ROLE SUMMARY
The CQ Quality Design Manager is a proactive, dynamic and results driven colleague who is accountable for:
  • establishing new processes (e.g. promotional claims management and monitoring) and associated ways of working to realize meaningful change for the Global Content Policy process
  • driving process and documentation simplification across all CQ in-scope areas, including driving assigned projects that enable the CQ strategy.

This global role will identify and realize improvements in process design for business processes that are either owned by Commercial Quality or by processes owners support by the CMO and drive benefit realization through collaboration with the CQ organization and commercial stakeholders. Design includes identification of system requirements, operational processes and documentation & training needs
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring and Claims Coordination
  • Develop and maintain strategy & roadmap to enable a centralized, automated approach to in-market quality monitoring of in-scope services including.
  • Implement centralized monitoring capability in partnership with CQ Operations and continuously improve pan-CQ monitoring.
  • Monitor and optimize global and local resource allocation and impact of monitoring capability.
  • Co-ordination and monitoring of an impact assessment of claims/materials following a product label update
  • Implement and continuously improve claim library management processes.

Global Quality Process Design and Implementation
  • Support identification and prioritization of quality process and guideline simplifications and enhancements
  • Assess and monitor effectiveness and efficiency of processes and guidelines.
  • Establish a mechanism for actively capturing feedback from Quality Leads and end users.
  • Lead assigned projects, process, and guideline simplifications / enhancements

Local Commercial Quality Service Design
  • Drive consistency in local market commercial SOPs to ensure effective in continuously meeting local code/regulations.
  • Lead design of local quality activities in collaboration with Quality Leads driving consistency across markets

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Manage relationships with Business Process Owners to ensure processes remain under control and effective.
  • Support Global & Regional and Local marketing with managing claims lifecycle in the claim's library.
  • Drive awareness to continuously improve understanding of CQ guidelines across the CQ community in partnership with the Business Process Owners and Quality Leads
  • Support during audits and remediation for global process / corporate audits when required and update guidance documentation to meet audit remediation expectations.
    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science with preferred discipline(s): Science, Business Studies/Management, Information Technology
  • Some experience in pharma and/or quality
  • Fundamental knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory requirements, and risk management
  • Process (re)design capabilities and experience in driving change.
  • Solid understanding of commercial business activities
  • Demonstrated experience of aligning stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to analyse information, draw insights and recommend improvements; ability to synthesize problems and develop innovative solutions and strategies.
  • Experience of working across cultures and multiple time zones
  • Able to read and understand the English language (verbal and written)
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in commercial operations and/or sales & marketing
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a proven ability to prioritize and work independently to complete quality work on a timely basis.
  • Experience in business case development
  • Foundational knowledge of emerging digital channels and technologies (including wearables, RPA, AI)
  • Process (re)design capabilities and experience in driving change.
  • Solid understanding of commercial business activities
  • Demonstrated experience of aligning stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to analyse information, draw insights and recommend improvements; ability to synthesize problems and develop innovative solutions and strategies.
  • Experience of working across cultures and multiple time zones
  • Able to read and understand the English language (verbal and written)
    NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
    Given the global nature of the role, (limited) international travel and working outside of normal work times will be required.
