Position Purpose: Evaluate data and insights from extensive and integrated data sets to enable data-driven decision making to reduce overall cost of care and improve clinical outcomes for members. Work collaboratively with key business stakeholders to identify areas of value, develop solutions, and deliver insights.

  • Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers, and development of documentation and project planning
  • Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, recommend potential business solutions and assist with implementation
  • Identify ways to enhance performance management and operational reports
  • Support identification of and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications and processes
  • Lead problem solving and coordination efforts between various business units
  • Assist with formulating and updating departmental policies and procedures
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on assigned functions, products, or analytic domains in support of strategic objectives
  • Provide process and requirements guidance to junior analysts
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance or related field or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred. 4+ years of experience in business process, data analysis, or requirements analysis. Healthcare, analytics delivery, project management, and/or IT experience preferred. Experience with HEDIS, NCQA, Medicare Star Rating System, QRS, or other quality measures preferred.

Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
