We are hiring immediately for a Quality Engineer to join our team to work in our Longmont, CO office with the option for work-from-home 1 day per week.

Responsibilities:

  • The quality and Delivery team ensures all products meet or exceed both internal requirements and customer expectations.
  • performing Quality Control on a wide range of geospatial products.
  • Review products prior to delivery, ensuring they meet or exceed Product Specification.
  • Ensure that quality standards are being met on all Vantor geospatial products
  • Provide timely quality assessments
  • Partner with other teams in the Operations department to meet quarterly revenue goals

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen, have current or ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance
  • Minimum of 2 years of geospatial work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or related field. Two additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Proficiency with imagery, DTM/DSM, and vector products
  • Must be willing to be on-call typically once every six to seven weeks - when you are "on-call" you are paid salary plus shift differential pay
  • Additional volunteer on-call opportunities available during holidays with additional pay
  • Must be willing to travel to Longmont.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Unix/Linux at the command line
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Ability to support time-sensitive requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of ArcGIS and Global Mapper
  • Geospatial production background

Pay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.  The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

● The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $61,000.00 - $101,000.00 annually. 

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
