Jabil is seeking a Quality Engineer to work in the Clinton, MA location. 

How will you make an impact? As a Quality Engineer with Jabil, you will assist with the Quality Assurance function as technical support in addressing issues that are affecting manufacturing.  You will provide support and drive corrective actions for the Quality Team.

What will you do?

  • Create validation reports, internal technical reports, internal documentation, etc.
  • Perform data analysis as needed to ensure CPK/PPK/K-Value meets requirements as applicable
  • Represents the quality function in the deployment of new or modified systems, serving as a participant/contributor to new program/product introduction delivery activities
  • Represents the quality function in the operational sustaining activities, serving as a participant/contributor in continuous improvement and problem resolution activities.
  • Ensure complete compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory standards, including cGMP/QSR, ISO13485, and 21CFR820, Part 11.
  • Participate in activities to support local and global safety practices and programs
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities towards customer focus and process planning, and improvement
  • Contribute to the creation/implementation of commercial change control notices (CCN) and engineering release orders (ERO)
  • Contribute to the activities for Corrective Actions (CA), Preventive Actions (PA), and A3 Projects
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and site compliance of the product Quality Plans (QP), Inspection Plans (IP), Batch History Record (BHR), Device Master Record (DMR), etc, as established through local site and customer requirements
  • Contribute to program/project change control operational sustaining activities, including the creation, maintenance, and compliance of standard operating procedures, work instructions, purchasing specifications, incoming inspection records, inspection/quality plans, etc.
  • Contribute to commercial support problem-solving activities, including resolution of area non-conforming product/process events, process change/deviation authorizations, product quarantine events, and complaint investigations etc.
  • May be required to directly interface with customers, suppliers, and other local site departmental resources at all levels of these organizations.
  • May be directed by senior engineering staff to assist with additional duties.
  • Other responsibilities to be assigned as appropriate

How will you get here? 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline is strongly preferred, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 

  • At least 6 months of experience working in an engineering or quality type position is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong technical writing skills; for example, creating validation reports, Internal Technical reports, or experience writing SOPs (standard operating procedures) preferred.
  • Time Management skills, Attention to detail, and Data Analysis are a plus
