What you’ll get to do:

Serves as a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist who will be responsible for activities associated with delivery of customer-defined systems and software projects; basic responsibilities include:

  • Develop, evaluate, and implement quality management processes and standards to ensure compliance with organizational standards and governmental regulatory requirements; work with customer quality management representatives to seamlessly design, integrate, and implement quality assurance practices to support achievement of program and customer goals and objectives.

  • Develop and implement a Quality Control Program.

  • Conduct quality audits and implement preventive/corrective actions.

  • Document validation procedures and technical reports; assist with establishing and implementing organizational validation policies.

  • Measure, track and ensure contract performance objectives are met or exceeded.

  • Develop new and refine existing process to enhance quality and productivity.

  • Maintaining relevant metrics

  • Support long- and short-range planning

  • Performing scheduled and allocated work, providing advice and guidance, and resolving problems to meet technical performance and financial objectives

You have:

  • Current DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

  • Five (5) years of experience and College degree (B.S. or greater) in Quality Management and Business or related field.

You are good at:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Understanding of all elements of PMBOK and IT delivery life cycles, including planning, development, requirements management, quality assurance, and release management.

  • Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing solutions that are highly creative and ingenious, exhibiting ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.

  • Solid experience in incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach

  • Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle

  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter

Bonus would be having:

  • Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)

  • Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas

  • Experience working in a dynamic, multifaceted environment

  • Acts independently to expose and resolve challenges

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$62,200-$130,600
