About the Job

Join Excelya, where Audacity, Care, and Energy define who we are and how we work. We believe in creating bold solutions and fostering an inclusive environment where collaboration and individual growth go hand in hand.

We are looking for a QA Executive to join our QA team, focusing on Good Distribution Practice (GDP)activities. This is a client-facing role, ensuring compliance with EU GDP regulations for marketed medicinal products and medical devices. You’ll be stepping into a position previously held by a long-standing team member, so we’re seeking someone with maturity, adaptability, and a strong QA mindset.

This is more than just a QA position. It’s a chance to step into a dynamic, client-facing role where your expertise will directly impact the safe distribution of approved medicines across Europe. You’ll be joining a team that values precision, adaptability, and collaboration, working with a variety of clients, each with their own systems, teams, and challenges.

From day one, you’ll be exposed to multiple QA environments, giving you rare insight into how different companies operate. It’s a fast-paced learning curve, but also a unique opportunity to grow your skills quickly and meaningfully. You’ll never be stuck in a routine—each day brings new systems, new teams, and new perspectives.

The first couple of months will be all about getting to know the landscape: understanding the different client setups, building relationships, and learning how to navigate their systems. It’s a challenge, yes—but also a built-in training experience that will expand your QA toolkit and deepen your industry knowledge.

And you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll be part of a supportive QA team at Excelya, where knowledge-sharing and collaboration are part of the culture. Whether you're working alongside another local QA expert or acting as the sole QA point of contact for a client, you’ll have the backing of a strong internal network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the local QA representative for assigned client projects, ensuring compliance with EU GDP regulations.
  • Review distribution documentation, including temperature logs and shipment records.
  • Write and review SOPs, Quality Technical Agreements, and other QMS documentation.
  • Conduct internal and vendor audits; support client audits and inspections.
  • Manage Issues, CAPAs, change controls, and complaints handling.
  • Provide training to client staff on GDP-related topics.
  • Collaborate with global QA teams and adapt to various client systems and teams.
  • Support Excelya’s internal QA activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

About You

At Excelya, taking audacious steps is encouraged, so we’re looking for individuals who are ready to grow with us and share our values. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to take ownership, bring structure, and thrive in a dynamic environment. If you’re detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about quality, this could be the perfect next step in your QA career.

Experience & Skills:

  • You’ve got QA experience – at least 2 years in a quality assurance role, ideally within a GxP environment.
  • You’re confident and mature – able to manage projects independently and make informed decisions.
  • You’re fluent in English – both written and spoken, as you’ll be working with international teams.
  • You’re flexible and adaptable – switching between different client systems and teams doesn’t faze you.
  • You know your way around SOPs – writing, reviewing, and following them is second nature.
  • You’ve conducted audits – even if it’s just a first experience, you understand the process and its importance.
  • You understand change control and CAPA management – and you’re comfortable leading these processes.
  • You’re experienced in vendor management – qualifying, requalifying, and working with suppliers confidently.

Education: You have a relevant degree in life sciences, supply chain, or a related field.

Languages: You are fluent in Greek and English.

Bonus points if:

  • You’re familiar with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) – or eager to learn.
  • You’ve worked with ISO certifications like ISO 9001.
