Position DetailsWe are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure that every product we deliver is reliable, functional, and exceeds user expectations. You’ll work closely with our Engineering Team, Product Owners, and stakeholders to champion quality at every stage of the development process.
This is the perfect time to join Pixelocracy during an exciting phase of growth, where your contributions will shape both our products and processes. As a member of our Engineering team, a snapshot of your day-to-day would include:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Executing manual and automated testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
- Collaborating with developers and product owners to understand requirements and identify potential issues.
- Identifying, logging, and tracking bugs to resolution.
- Ensuring test coverage across various platforms, including web and mobile.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Contributing to the improvement of QA processes and tools.
- Analyzing test results and reporting on the overall quality of deliverables.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- At least 2 years of experience in a QA Engineer or similar role within software development teams.
- Good understanding with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Familiarity with testing APIs using tools like Postman or equivalent.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and version control systems like Git.
- Basic understanding of modern tech stacks (e.g., Python/Django, JS/React) is a plus.
- Passionate about details and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
