The QA Engineer will ensure quality across web and frontend experiences, build automated test coverage, and improve release confidence through collaboration.
About the company
Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds. We are the global leader in tokenized treasuries, tokenized stocks and ETFs, and are building the future of institutional-grade financial services onchain.
Founded by folks from Goldman Sachs Digital Assets Team, we’re backed by some of the best investors in the world including Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, Tiger Global, and more. We are currently the leaders in the space in terms of AUM and are well capitalized to continue growing the firm. We're fully remote, with team members across the U.S.
About the role
We’re hiring a QA Engineer to own quality across our web and frontend product experience.
This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to do more than just test features. You’ll help define how quality works across the team, build the systems that catch issues before users do, and raise the bar for reliability as we scale. This role sits at the center of a platform serving institutional investors and retail users across complex, high-stakes product surfaces, including perps, portfolio experiences, and other workflows that drive significant user and transaction volume.
You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering to test and automate critical user flows across our frontend stack, with a focus on Next.js, Playwright, Jest, and Percy.
Responsibilities
- Own QA for web and frontend experiences end to end
- Build and maintain automated test coverage across critical user journeys
- Create reliable testing workflows using Playwright, Jest, and Percy
- Help ensure quality across products used by both institutional and retail customers
- Test complex frontend flows tied to perps, portfolio management, and other high-volume product experiences
- Catch regressions early and improve release confidence
- Partner closely with engineers to improve quality throughout development, not just before launch
- Help establish the foundations, tooling, and process for QA as the company grows
Requirements
- Strong experience testing modern web applications
- Hands-on experience with Next.js, Playwright, Jest, and visual regression testing
- A high-ownership mindset and strong product judgment
- Comfort working in a fast-moving startup environment with ambiguous problems
- Ability to think clearly about quality in systems that are complex, high-traffic, and user-critical
- Clear communicator who can drive bugs to resolution and improve team habits around quality
Nice to haves
- Experience automating web3 flows like wallet connections, signing, and transactions
What we offer
- Competitive compensation including but not limited to salary, future token rights, and/or equity (according to your preferences) — We are well-funded and believe that great talent deserves great compensation.
- Full benefits (medical, vision, and dental) and flexible vacation policy (PTO).
- Remote-first team across many countries — You will be an early team member helping shape our vision, culture, and design practices.
- A+ colleagues — Our team includes alumni from: Goldman Sachs, Blackrock, Two Sigma, Bridgewater, SpaceX, AWS, Meta, Google, McKinsey, Coinbase, Circle, Uniswap.
- Best-in-class investors — We are proud to be backed by leading crypto experts and VCs, including Pantera Capital, Founders Fund and Coinbase Ventures.
