Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA / Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in functional testing, automation testing, API testing, and end-to-end application validation.

The candidate should have good programming skills and experience developing and maintaining scalable automation test suites. The role requires close collaboration with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Overview:
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks that ensure high-quality, reliable software releases. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test data based on business and technical requirements.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Automate API testing and validate backend services, databases, and integrations.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools such as JIRA, and work with developers on root cause analysis.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, and contribute to improving QA processes.
  • Provide test execution reports, metrics, and quality insights to stakeholders.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in QA, with strong hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress with Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Strong experience in API testing and automation (Postman, REST Assured, or similar), with solid SQL skills for data validation.
  • Experience with test frameworks and tools such as TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or Cucumber (BDD), and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Good understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile methodologies, and defect management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 34000
Maximum Compensation: USD 119000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full-time employees.
This position is not available for independent contractors
