Job Summary
As a QA Automation Manager at Redsail Technologies, you will lead a team of automation engineers across multiple product lines to drive quality through scalable automation solutions. You will oversee test automation strategy, framework architecture, team development, and integration into the CI/CD pipeline. In this leadership role, you will collaborate with QA, Development, Product, and DevOps to deliver high-quality, performant software. Your ability to balance technical leadership with people management will be critical to achieving organizational goals.
Key Duties
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of QA Automation Engineers.
- Define, refine, and implement the QA automation strategy and roadmap across products.
- Collaborate with DevOps to ensure automated test suites are fully integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency, risk reduction, and automation across QA and SDLC processes.
- Set and track automation KPIs and report metrics to leadership to measure quality and release readiness.
- Drive alignment of automation efforts with the product and release roadmap.
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams to triage high-priority bugs, understand feature scope, and ensure test coverage.
Education/Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in QA, test automation, or software engineering.
Required Work Experience/Skills
- Expertise with one or more test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Playwright, WebdriverIO, Robot Framework).
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for coaching and developing talent.
- Deep understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., K6, JMeter) and API testing practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Previous experience with pharmacy management systems or healthcare-related applications.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale test automation frameworks.

- Moderate or high levels of stress may be experienced in the performance of the job
- Position is performed in a general office environment, home office, or approved remote workspace where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting to 25 lbs.

- Daily use of the Microsoft Teams (phone), computer, printer, and other routine office equipment
- Must have internet access

Compensation & Total Rewards
- The anticipated base salary range for this position is $95,000-$110,000 annually. This position is also eligible for an annual target bonus of 4%. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
