Role Summary:

This position is for Quality Assurance Lead whose responsibility would be to take care of delivering the QA end to end for any project. As a lead, the QA would be involved in Team Leadership, Test Strategy Development, Test Planning and Execution, Stakeholder Communication, risk identification and reporting.

  • Someone with good understanding of testing methodologies and testing processes.

  • Understands software development life cycle process and various testing techniques including a proficiency in system testing.

  • Formulates and executes comprehensive test strategies in alignment with project goals and organizational standards.

  • Drive the adoption of test automation tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and coverage in an agile approach to projects and workstreams.

  • Lead and mentor a team of testers, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.

  • Develop detailed test plans, including resource allocation, schedule, and scope of testing activities.

  • Oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring thorough coverage and timely delivery.

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to identify and address defects early in the development lifecycle.

  • Effectively communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.

  • Promote continuous improvement by analyzing testing processes and implementing best practices.

  • Identify and mitigate testing risks to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Establish and maintain metrics for measuring test effectiveness and product quality.

You Also Have

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Business Administration).

  • Possesses a minimum of 7 years of QA experience into testing with minimum 2 years as a Test Lead.

  • Experience in automation capabilities- Front End, API, E2E, CICD, performance testing.

  • Experience in Retail (Preferred).

Role Description:

  • Defining the testing model and strategy for projects involved in.

  • Determining the approach for testing and any automation capabilities that can be utilized to enhance the quality of projects. 

  • Reviewing, drafting and publishing of test scripts for SIT/UAT.

  • Coordinating and leading the testing with other testers to ensure successful completion of deliverables

  • Coordinating with the Developer and Product team for any issue/updates/bugs etc.

  • Creation of testing artifacts including but not limited to test cases, test scripts, test conditions and expected test results.

  • Keeping the test scripts up to date with Production releases.

  • Exploring any possible automation options with the available automation tool.

  • Contribute towards automation as and when needed

  • Mapping of test cases to business requirements and functional designs.

  • Documentation of test execution results.

  • Performing negative testing.

  • Troubleshooting and reviewing log/queues.

  • Documentation of defects.

  • Attending daily stand-up meetings with the onshore team.

  • Using appropriate QA test management tools.

  • Creating test results and defect reports.
