We're looking for a sales representative to sell to SMB and Enterprise sized companies via the telephone and internet in a defined geographic territory, teamed up with an in-territory Regional Sales Manager. The goal for the Inside Sales Representative (Public Sector) is growing our customer base and will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through booked sale. What you will do:
  • Achieve territory sales objectives through sales of products and services to new customers
  • Identify sales opportunities through lead generation, follow-up, networking, and building relationships with potential customers, carriers, and partners
  • Adopt our sales methodology and adhere to our sales process
  • Make recommendations to prospective customers that align their business needs to our technology solutions and services
  • Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation, and close
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about our products and services
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the territory, marketplace, and competitive offerings
  • Establish and maintain a clean and healthy pipeline
  • Provide accurate and dependable forecasts on a quarterly basis

The skills you bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Three to five (3-5) years of sales experience, preferably in a tech field
  • Documented success achieving and exceeding assigned quotas
  • Experience in presenting a sales demonstration to clients
  • Consultative, solution-based sales methodology
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • AA (Marketing/Business preferred) or equivalent experience

Bonus Points:
  • Experience with networks and/or cellular carriers
  • Successful B2B sales experience with a strong emphasis on acquiring new customers

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is:
• Massachusetts: $61,500 - $80,850
Variable Compensation Plan:This role includes the opportunity for sales commissions as a part of the Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Variable Compensation Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance against sales targets and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules may apply.
