So, what’s the role all about?
The Proposal Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-focused, and competitively differentiated RFx responses that combine best practices with refined proposal development tools and processes. The Proposal Manager’s primary focus will be on leading strategic RFP/RFI pursuits and outlining the business value of NiCE solutions in RFx responses.
How will you make an impact?
- Lead the development of high-quality, customer-focused, and competitively differentiated RFP responses
- Exhibit strong leadership skills to help set team expectations and effectively balance workload in order to produce high-quality deliverables in an environment where competing deadlines are a norm
- Review, edit, and requirements as detailed in the client's RFx to ensure our resulting proposal is compliant and responsive
- Organize and facilitate proposal kickoff calls, meetings, review sessions, etc.
- Coordinate sales, marketing, technical, and corporate resources across multiple time zones and regions to develop proposal content
- Ensure corporate knowledge database (Responsive or other proposal database software) and all response deliverables information is up-to-date, easy-to-find, and technically accurate based on relevant RFPs
- Participate in training and development sessions on an ongoing basis to continually develop individual knowledge capital around the NiCE solution set
Have you got what it takes?
- Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) membership and/or certification preferred
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
- Experience in working State, Local, or Federal RFPs is desirable.
- Professional proposal development, technical writing, training or marketing experience
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work within team environment
- Experience with Salesforce, and any RFP tool such as Responsive preferred
- Advanced skills in MS Word styles and templates; familiarity with Excel, PDF and other MS office programs
Education
- A., BBA, B.S. with a preference in disciplines around English, journalism, business communications, marketing, or other writing-focused degrees
