The Proposal & Bid Manager oversees the preparation and submission of client proposals, ensuring compliance, clarity, and coordination across teams to enhance win rates.
The Proposal & Bid Manager is responsible for structuring, managing, and delivering all client-facing commercial proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and supporting documentation. This role acts as the bridge between Sales, Solution Architects, and Delivery to ensure Brixio submits fast, professional, and winning offers that reflect our technical credibility, Cloudflare expertise, and ability to deliver at scale.
🔹 Core Responsibilities 1. RFP/RFI Management- Own the full lifecycle of RFP/RFI responses from qualification to submission
- Lead coordination across PreSales, Legal, and Delivery to gather and structure inputs
- Write, edit, and format responses to ensure clarity, impact, and consistency with Brixio brand and offer positioning
- Build and maintain a central RFP response library for reusable answers, use cases, and certifications
- Translate discovery and presales inputs into clear, client-facing proposals
- Work with Solution Architects to validate scope, licensing quantities, project phases, and timelines
- Format commercial offers with clear deliverables, pricing, payment terms, and resource planning
- Ensure consistency and compliance across all offers (pricing policy, margin check, partner approval)
- Track all bid activities (status, deadlines, win/loss outcomes, lessons learned)
- Manage approval workflows (internal margin validation, legal checks, Cloudflare partner validation when needed)
- Ensure proper version control and document management across all submissions
- Contribute to improving internal tools and templates used for offer creation
- Work closely with:
- Sales: to qualify opportunities and timelines
- Solution Architects: to ensure technical accuracy
- Delivery Managers: to confirm resource assumptions and risk points
- Finance/Legal: for commercial, compliance, and contract validation
🔹 Key Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in proposal management, bid coordination, or technical writing
- Strong knowledge of the bidding lifecycle, ideally in IT services, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure
- Fluency in French and English — written and spoken
- Strong writing, formatting, and structuring skills (clarity, executive tone, no fluff)
- Proficiency with Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); bonus: Notion, Confluence, CRM/CPQ tools
- Ability to work fast and clean under pressure — we ship 1–2 quotes per day, weekly
- Experience with public sector, mid-market, and enterprise RFPs is a plus
- 100% on-time RFP submission
- Improved proposal consistency and reduced error rate
- Win rate on proposals improves (due to clarity, alignment, and sharpness)
- Internal satisfaction from Sales, SAs, and Delivery improves (fewer bottlenecks)
- Proposal library and templates become reusable assets across Brixio
- This is not a salesperson role — but must understand how to make proposals commercially sharp
- This is not a deep technical architect — but must understand enough to represent the solution accurately
- This is not a junior admin — you must own the proposal process like a project
