Position Description:
The Technology Program Manager is responsible for maintaining the Technology Infrastructure group’s project, resource, asset, and vendor portfolio. Additionally, he or she is also responsible for managing the budget, driving process improvements, monthly reporting, and coordinating across technology teams to ensure all audit controls are in place and functioning.
Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Create and manage the Technology Project Portfolio by identifying tasks, resources, delivery timelines and managing risk and conflicts. Prioritize project activities that best support business objectives.
  • Apply project management methodologies within organizational guidelines; comfortable working in an environment without a strict project management governance process
  • Ensure compliance with system audit controls and the collection of evidence. Interface with the internal and external auditors as needed
  • Manage relationships successfully across technology, finance, internal audit, and project stakeholders at all levels.
  • Manage the delivery of all projects, including project plans, status meetings, progress reports and initiation/closure activities with upper level management.
  • Track HW/SW asset support coverage and contracts.
  • Own the budgeting process by tracking vendor spend, purchase order processing, and capex expenditures. Work with Finance to reconcile discrepancies
  • Create and maintain up-to-date infrastructure documentation – network and system diagrams, client presentations, etc.


Candidate profile:
The successful candidate will be an experienced, high-energy, detail-oriented and highly organized project manager with diverse project leadership experience in an innovative high-tech software company. He or she will have demonstrated the ability to manage a complex portfolio of projects and resources. The attributes of the successful candidate are described here:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business, mathematics, computer science or related field.
  • 5-10 years work experience managing technology projects.
  • Experienced with both waterfall and agile (Scrum) project management approaches.
  • Must have experience creating and executing project delivery plans, including the identification of resources, risks and dependencies.
  • Strong and effective written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing audits and managing system controls is a plus
  • Precise attention to detail with a positive attitude and healthy sense of humor.
  • Must be comfortable juggling multiple changing priorities and projects with effective time management.
  • Views changing priorities as a motivating challenge
  • Excited to innovate in a fast-paced, rapidly-expanding company.
  • Demonstrated ability to assume sole and independent responsibility for various projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to mitigate risks proactively and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated successful experience with managing partner and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and investigative skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
