We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Technical Project Manager to participate in our hardware development process. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple cross-functional projects in a fast paced startup environment.

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Assessing project risks and developing risk management strategies
  • Planning projects across multiple cross functional product teams
  • Informing leadership of project progress and risks
  • Scheduling key deliverables
  • Determine team resourcing
  • Presenting plans to technical and leadership teams
  • Adjusting plans based on progress and realized risk
  • Working between TRL 3 and 9 in product development
  • Management of product development plans and risk registers
  • Managing external engineering and design teams
  • Traveling approximately 30% of the time

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in fast-paced technology development roles
  • Proven transition of technologies from R&D to production
  • 5+ years in project management roles
  • Cross-functional team projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, or equivalent
