The main areas of focus of the teams you will help are sort order, recommendation algorithms, bidders (for traffic acquisition), and personalization.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of our technical projects including:

• Identification of opportunities and ideation of solutions

• Prioritization of competing projects

• Ensuring timely progress towards objectives

• Collaboration with stakeholders to understand objectives and constraints

  • Can we use an existing model or do we need Data Science to build a new one?

• Design of efficient solutions

  • Can the problem be solved with a query or is it more complicated?

• Drive improvements to self-service tools and processes

  • Integrate products to facilitate workflow of various teams

• Implementation and testing

  • Coordinate work of Data Science and Engineering for model reliability

  • Coordinate work of Revenue Management and Product for consumption

  • Coordinate work of Analytics for A/B testing

• Maintenance of models and control systems

  • Ensuring reliability and continued accuracy

Your skills to apply:

• Very organized and business oriented

• Great ability to collaborate with stakeholders from various teams

• Excellent communication skills across levels and backgrounds

• Good at defining priorities and figuring out MVP requirements

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field preferred

• Strong understanding of logic and needs of modeling approaches

• Not afraid of pushing for change and improvements

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role

• Ability to fill the roles of project manager and product manager
