Senior Project Manager & Scrum Master

What we’re about:

Cantina is a strategic design and development agency. We accelerate an organization's ability to innovate, grow, and deliver better digital products and services. Our project managers are part of our delivery team, working closely with our clients to deliver customer-centric solutions. Delivery management is the hub that supports all our services providing product management, project management and best practices to our clients.

You know your way around a Gantt chart but also understand that sometimes clients need other communication methods to know what’s going on. You’ve got experience with mobile projects and may have delivered an IoT or connected product project. You may also have worked as a product manager or business analyst.

  • Assist in the preparation of Statements of Work.
  • Contributing to Cantina product design thought leadership by participating in Marketing-related activities.
  • Pursue opportunities on behalf of the client that go beyond the obvious or accepted solution.

An Insider's view of Cantina

What are some social events your company does?

We have a Thursday DJ 'jam' happy hour where employees gather and have a few drinks while Cantinista's DJ or learn how to..

Service Designer

What does your typical day look like?

I start my day usually with a team check-in, then dive right into my tasks planned for the day. There are, of course, days that aren't as predictable but that's an aspect of the job I enjoy. In any case, there's always time for lunch and catching up with others at the office/project.

Senior Engineer

What makes someone successful on your team?

Communication is key. Willingness to be open and adapt to new situations.

Associate Engineer

What is your vision for the company?

My vision for Cantina is a place to foster a team that brings drive, creativity, smarts, kindness, openness, and caring to the challenge of solving hard problems and creating things that will add value for people. We'll do this for businesses and for community.

Chief Innovation Officer

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

To me, the best indicator of a good work-life balance is the feeling that you have enough time. Enough time to sleep, to feel like part of a team, to relax, to hone your skills, to recover from illness, to get your ideas across, to spend time with loved ones, to learn, to make a lasting contribution, and to do anything else you might want to do.
