Senior Manager, PMO
The Senior Manager, North America Project Management Office (PMO) is a key management position within the Bullhorn Professional Services team. This role will motivate and lead a team of Project Managers in North America, ensuring a world class implementation experience for Bullhorn's largest customers. This individual will also have ownership of and be accountable for the health of the portfolio within the region, and be responsible for formulating and executing the vision and strategy to advance the Global PMO.
As our Senior Manager of PMO, a typical day might include:
Guiding your team of Project Managers responsible for implementing Bullhorn's software products to our enterprise clients.
Establishing and evolving/optimizing the delivery methodology for enterprise accounts, driving consistency of the methodology and governance by the PM team in implementing Bullhorn's SaaS solutions.
Developing and implementing standardized processes, tools, templates, techniques and guidance notes to drive your team's performance.
Ensuring development plans and career paths are clear and followed for the Project Managers.
Working with Resource Management to ensure PMs are allocated appropriately.
Working with Finance and PS Management to ensure capacity and headcount planning is effective.
Being an escalation point for all engagements as part of the project plan and resolving such escalations.
Reporting regular progress to the PS leadership team with regard to the status of ongoing projects, capacity, escalations and other initiatives.
Managing client relationships for key accounts across the implementation lifecycle.
Aiding clients with Bullhorn best practices regarding user adoption techniques, rollout strategies, and education plans.
Leading and participating in cross functional teams in the development and completion of key efficiency and optimization initiatives.
Up to 30% travel to client sites and other Bullhorn offices
This job might be for you if you have:
Experience implementing agile project management practices
A proven track record of 5+ years of managing enterprise software implementation projects for external clients. (If your projects are internal-facing, this is not the role for you!)
Experience and comfort managing projects of 6+ months duration, and project budgets up to $1M.
Expert project management skills including project planning, risk mitigation, resource management, and budget oversight.
Track record of successfully managing the delivery of professional service engagements on time and within budget.
Minimum experience of 3-5 years leading teams of software-implementing Project Managers.
Experience of evolving Enterprise implementation methodology within a software company.
Bonus points for:
Staffing industry experience and knowledge.
Prior experience in the recruiting industry is desired, as is experience supporting/implementing staffing software solutions.
A high comfort level with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Project Management Profession (PMP®) certification.
