Senior Director, Technical Brand Management
About The Opportunity
This is a leadership role within the Grubhub | LevelUp Digital Agency team, which builds custom branded mobile applications and web ordering experiences for Enterprise restaurant brands. The LevelUp Agency team has built and launched over 250 of these applications and websites for clients of varied sizes, with plans to build and launch larger and more complex applications as we grow our business.
This Senior Director will lead the Technical Brand Management team, with primary responsibilities related to building relationships with clients, collaborating with business & technology leaders across the organization, and managing a group of Technical Brand Managers. This leader will be closely involved in overseeing and developing strategies for retention and growth within our Agency client portfolio, while ensuring that the Technical Brand Management team delivers cost-efficient, high-quality service.
Some Challenges You’ll Tackle
- Directly manage Directors in the Technical Brand Management team, acting as a mentor to help improve client relationship management, project management, and other skills
- Act as point for highly escalated client issues that require leadership assistance, and coach the team on how to handle escalations
- Ensure all critical projects stay on track, and guide team members on strategies to address any major issues
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and documentation of processes within the Technical Brand Management team and across the entire Digital Agency organization
- Act as an advocate for Grubhub | LevelUp in each client relationship to drive adoption, retention, and participation in new campaigns, features, and products
- Gain technical product expertise, knowledge of business strategy, and familiarity with legal regulations to work effectively with cross-functional leadership teams
- Endeavor to bring creative solutions to gain new business with prospective clients and to build the business of existing clients
- Develop leaders on the team, direct them in addressing challenges, and foster knowledge-sharing across all disciplines internally to ensure collaboration
- Provide team with necessary tools and training to improve core expertise and continued career growth
- Assist with new business efforts, budget planning, and ongoing pricing strategy to ensure that the Digital Agency continues to grow in a sustainable manner
