Job Overview:
Toast is looking for self-motivated individuals who want to be part of a team that is transforming the way restaurants operate. You will be involved in working with Toast’s restaurant customers to plan their complete software and hardware installation. We are looking for candidates with experience taking projects through the implementation and installation lifecycle, have experience in the restaurant industry, can communicate effectively, and are creative problem solvers. What you will do:
- Effectively communicating with customers to guide them through the process of getting Toast operational in their location
- Support and cultivate a positive experience for the customer through the entire project process from implementation and installation to go-live remotely via phone and email
- Lead intro calls with customers to outline process and reiterate/set/review expectations
- Manage and track day-to-day logistics using internal tools including Salesforce and Google Drive, continuously moving toward project milestones
- Setup and coordinate complex schedules for customer installation with Field Implementation team
- Meet or exceed monthly goals and targets as individual and team
- Order customized package of Hardware required for each customer site
- Keep customers on track with timelines of necessary tasks, status updates and meetings
- Deliver excellent customer service despite competing interests
- Work with Business Operations to coordinate financial setup, credit card processing, billing and assist customer with any billing problems
- Escalate problems to appropriate departments internally
- Ensure a smooth transition from go-live to Support/Account Management and beyond
Do you have the right ingredients?
- Excellent written / email and verbal / phone communication skills
- Experience with documentation, customer relationship management and project management tools
- Willingness to work through customer challenges, thinking creatively of solutions outside the box
- Working knowledge of restaurant operations (prior front of house experience a plus)
- Ability to problem solve / troubleshoot in a proactive, positive and timely manner
- Strong work ethic and motivated by fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Ability to confidently and professionally communicate with all levels, internally & externally
- Highly flexible and adaptable, driven by challenge
- Demonstrated attention to detail, strong organization skills and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
