Role Description
The Corporate Strategy & Development team is responsible for providing data-driven insights to drive strategic decision-making across the company. We’re seeking a Project Manager who will support broad corporate development initiatives with a high focus on M&A integration management and planning, and strategic project execution. This newly created role is a unique opportunity to drive some of Toast’s top strategic priorities, gain substantial senior leadership exposure, and help scale a hyper-growth startup.
Responsibilities
- Lead integration and project management for acquisitions and strategic partnerships
- Play the centralizing role between senior leadership, internal workstream leaders, and acquisition targets
- Ensure financial and operational KPIs are met through acquisition integration
- Manage external consultants and vendors as necessary in strategic planning and integrations
- Drive strategic initiatives through a combination of business partnering, analytical insight, and project management
- Collaborate across all levels of the organization by developing a deep understanding of Toast’s business model, including product and market strategies, competitive context, and internal processes
Requirements
- 4 – 7 years of experience in management consulting or corporate development focused on integration management and planning
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure tight deadlines are met both internally and externally
- Highly effective communication skills; ability to structure regular communications with senior management and distill complex analyses into clear outputs
- Expert Excel and project management software skills; extensive experience building financial and organizational models and analyzing large data sets
- Ability to think creatively and critically, and thrive in a dynamic and often ambiguous work environment
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing senior stakeholder relationships
- Bachelor's degree

- SaaS or FinTech industry experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Wrike, SQL, Python or R
