Job Description

The Enterprise Project/Program Management Senior Manager is responsible for using strong business and technical knowledge along with leadership skills to drive results through the development of effective relationships with team members, business partners, and customers. The Project/Program Management Senior Manager oversees a Project/Program Management team(s), functions and activities. The Senior Manager is accountable for the performance and results of the team and for achieving department goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and leads the Project/Program team in the capturing of all work activities, prioritization, tracking, resource allocation, and reporting of key priorities and projects/programs

• Oversees, manages and operates within a budget and fiscal responsibilities

• Provides input on staffing needs, talent development, performance management, and succession planning to both senior leadership team and mid-level managers

• Provides leadership to direct reports, as well as direction and support to leaders of all functional areas to achieve business unit and corporate goals

• Influences and manages department goals, strategy, and culture/work environment

• Develops relationships of trust with all key stakeholders; partners effectively within AOR and with other AORs and business units to deliver results

• Assigns projects to staff according to experience and ability; monitors progress and provides guidance and coaching where necessary

• Leads or assists in the evaluation of strategic initiatives, including cost benefit and/or resource analysis for identified project and/or programs

• Ensures all projects are proceeding according to plans and timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and adhering to established operating parameters; negotiates changes in project resources, scope, and prioritization as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of proven management experience

  • Demonstrated adaptability and readiness for change

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Strong prioritization and leadership skills with a focus on team guidance and oversight

  • Prior claims experience a plus

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $112,000.00 - 196,750.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
