LJV is engaged by both private and public sector clients to oversee and lead a range of building projects from concept and initial design through all phases of construction until completion. As such, LJV is responsible for setting and keeping schedules, monitoring project finances, and ensuring that all specialist trades are executing their specific duties when and how they should all while establishing and enforcing protocols to maintain a worksite devoid of safety hazards.

Role Overview 

We seek a skilled and proactive Project Manager to join our innovative, expanding, solution-based construction management firm. This role is perfect for a leader who values decision making, accountability, and precision to deliver exceptional results in a collaborative environment.

Your Role 

  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure a safe job site, promote a culture of safety and conduct regular inspections. Ensure all projects meet OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations. 
  • Schedule Master: Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedule, ensure timely completion. Organization and forecasting that align with means and methods for accurate sequencing.  
  • Submittal Manager: Oversee submittal process using Procore, work with trade partners and vendors to ensure submittals meet client expectations.  
  • QPR Procurement Manager: Manage procurement processes through the lenses of quality, price, and relationships. Coordinate deliveries, maintain project budgets, mitigate risks and communicate with clients about project progression. 
  • Customer Satisfaction: Create and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring a positive experience.  
  • LMA Leader: Lead, manage, and hold team accountable to deliver high quality work and achieve project goals. 

Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications we are searching for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Unique skills and qualities, often honed during military service preferred. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail evidenced in prior work experience. 
  • 3+ years’ experience in project management or similarly related transferrable skills. 
  • Ability to consistently analyze and execute financial & operational tradeoffs which frequently involve dealing with incomplete data and ambiguity as evidenced in prior work experience. 
  • Excellent business judgment as demonstrated by consistently achieving profitability objectives and a strong reputation with clients and business partners. 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly encouraged.
