Job Description:
iCertifi is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the certification of wireless and telecommunications equipment globally. This role demands a strong background in Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC), as well as expertise in managing regulatory compliance for standards such as FCC, CE, ISED, BIS, WPC, TEC, ANATEL, and other global certifications. The Project Manager will play a key role in coordinating testing and certification efforts, ensuring compliance with EMC, safety (e.g., UL), and environmental standards (e.g., RoHS, WEEE, REACH).


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination:

    • Plan, execute, and complete compliance projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements.

    • Coordinate end-to-end processes for product testing, certification, and documentation.

  1. Stakeholder Communication:

    • Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing transparent updates on project status, timelines, and deliverables.

    • Build strong relationships with clients to foster trust and repeat business.

  1. Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with internal teams, including regulatory affairs and documentation specialists, to manage project deliverables.

    • Ensure seamless communication and coordination among remote team members.

  1. Regulatory Expertise:

    • Manage compliance with global standards such as FCC, CE, ISED, BIS, WPC, TEC, ANATEL, and others.

    • Oversee adherence to EMC, safety (e.g., UL), and environmental standards (e.g., RoHS, WEEE, REACH).

    • Stay updated on evolving regulatory landscapes and advise clients accordingly.

  1. Risk Management:

    • Identify potential challenges in compliance or regulatory requirements and develop solutions to mitigate delays.

  1. Documentation Oversight:

    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all technical documentation required for global regulatory approvals.

  1. Process Improvement:

    • Continuously evaluate and improve project workflows and compliance processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Project Management, Engineering, or Regulatory Affairs.

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally within TIC or regulatory compliance.

  • Strong understanding of global certification standards, including FCC, CE, ISED, BIS, WPC, TEC, ANATEL, and others.

  • Familiarity with EMC testing, safety standards (e.g., UL), and environmental regulations (e.g., RoHS, WEEE, REACH).

  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Zoho Project or Asana.

  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification is a plus.

  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while effectively collaborating with team members.

  • Adaptability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
