Job Description

  • Act as the lead for 66 ABG/SC project management activities working with appointed 66 ABG/SC project and requirements managers to prioritize SC projects and activities.
  • Administer 66 ABG/SC projects and requirements processes and procedures.
  • Facilitate compliance with project and requirements function MICT and other compliance requirements.
  • Interact with CFP and Communications Systems Officer (CSO) to validate requirements and determine scope.
  • Interact with Production Work Centers in accomplishing tasks and executing projects.
  • Interact with Cyberspace Systems Integrator (CSI) to maintain architectural standards.
  • Collaborate, coordinate on processes, activities, and artifacts to track designated project progress and milestones in the 66 ABG/SC Project Management Dashboard.
  • Track and report project progress and milestones.
  • Synchronize activities with SC Government POCs and external Hanscom AFB customers to effectively manage (current and future) IT information systems capabilities and service enhancements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and briefings which include findings and recommendations. Key tasks include receiving, logging, and safeguarding incoming plans; distributing plans to unit OPRs; posting, distributing, and analyzing changes to active plans; integrating plans into office file plans; maintaining unit master plans files; and creating, updating, and distributing the unit plans.
  • Provide upgrade support and future planning associated with delivery of capabilities as defined by the AF enterprise architecture identifying current or anticipated problem areas relating to hardware and software systems and present technical issues of interest or value to the Government.
  • Perform site surveys/QCs at required locations and document findings/required actions in preparation for solution analysis and/or system installation.

Qualifications

8+ years experience in a technical role including experience in project management.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements.  Demonstrated data management experience and ability.  Able to produce meaningful conclusions and provide statistical analytics from raw data and technical inputs.  Good command of Microsoft products including Office, SharePoint, and Teams.  Solid background in Air Force acumen and process and able to decipher what is applicable to the QA Group.  Strong project management skills.  Experience supporting IT and communications projects.  Must be detail-oriented with researching skills.  Able to produce charts and briefing slides for use in management briefs and presentations.  Able to demonstrate strong communication skills and interact professionally with all levels of an organization.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.

 

The projected compensation range for this position is $128,818-$148,500. There are multiple factors that can impact a final salary, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (if remote or different from the stated location for this position), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
