The Strategy, Delivery & Migrations organization is at the forefront of ETX's Technology Simplification and Modernization initiatives, driving platform Consolidation and Transformation. Central to the success of this transformative effort has been strong cross-functional collaboration across MassMutual, a relentless commitment to operational excellence, and strategic communication and change management. These elements have enabled the successful execution of multiple consolidations across various product lines, all while maintaining industry-leading low defect rates.
In support of our enterprise objective to enhance ease of doing business, we are fast-tracking both the product roadmap and the policy administration consolidation efforts, while simultaneously advancing the transformation of New Business and Underwriting. These efforts aim to reduce costs, strengthen digital capabilities for both customers and back-office operations, and mitigate operational risk across all Lines of Business at MassMutual.
Our team comprises experienced technical leads, developers, business analysts, and test management professionals, all dedicated to delivering our migration and transformation strategy through a blend of waterfall and agile methodologies.

The Impact:
- Lead cross-functional projects from planning through execution, managing matrixed teams and multiple business units
- Develop and manage short- and long-term project plans, budgets, forecasts, and release schedules
- Collaborate with stakeholders and executives to ensure strategic alignment and effective communication
- Drive decision-making using structured models (e.g., RAPID), resolve issues, and remove obstacles to team success
- Champion continuous improvement, change management, and operational efficiency across programs
- Coordinate technical integration and supplier collaboration across workstreams
- Navigate ambiguity and evolving priorities with independence and agility
- Identify risks, escalate issues, and proactively address gaps and dependencies
- Facilitate retrospectives and leverage metrics to enhance team development and delivery outcomes
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for planning, execution, management, implementation, and reporting of medium to large projects and/or small to medium programs
- Ensure on-time and quality delivery of project goals within scope and budget
- Apply advanced project and program management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to deliverables, processes, communications, and presentations
- Promote and contribute to MassMutual delivery methodologies, standards, and tool
The Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in technical project management or IT lead delivery using industry-standard project management tools
- 5+ years directly managing large, high visibility, complex enterprise-level programs/projects are required.
- 5+ years of experience in management, leadership, or similar leading role
- Ability to travel as needed to US vendor location (limited travel required)

- Effective communicator with relationship-building and influencing capabilities across teams and stakeholders

- Experience in Financial Services, insurance, and business data
- Skilled in Waterfall, Iterative, Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and supplier management
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building teams/functions from the ground up
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and continuous improvement
