The Role: We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Project Manager who will be responsible for the efficiency of the Data Division’s operations. The Project Manager will be a key member of the Data Division leadership team. If you have excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics, we’d like to meet you. The goal of the role is to secure the Data Division’s efficiency and functionality to drive extensive and sustainable growth.

  • Discuss/Rationalize/Convince/Coordinate activities with various managers at all levels in various functions, in order to shepherd and expedite good ideas into decision/action/reality.
  • Initiate discussions to help bring to light issues of the project, identify solutions, and lead and shepherd the implementation of those solutions.
  • Collaborate with project leaders in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring levels for the project.
  • Develop actionable project strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with project leaders.
  • Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing project’s goal setting, performance management, and operations planning.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships and drive collaboration with various colleagues to ensure successful execution and delivery of projects
  • Perform regular assessment of project execution to identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinate with internal resources across functions, ensuring project remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments and progress
  • Create and maintain project plans documentation, report on project progress and risks to management

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree(s) from a leading university
  • Experience as a team leader
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Basic technical skills to understand high level technical issues and to prioritize them accordingly
  • Self-starter: ability to set up initiatives and see them to the end without supervision
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with project management methodologies and standard processes
  • Experience in seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Validated ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline
  • Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues
  • Ability to multitask, work independently and as an integral member of the team with minimal supervision
  • Any of the following would be an added bonus:
    • Experience in data science/data engineering
    • Experience in the quant or finance domains
