Red River is seeking an experienced and talented IT Project Manager to join our growing Consulting Services division. 

This role involves managing the implementation of complex IT infrastructure, collaboration, and cloud solutions across a diverse customer base, including commercial and federal projects. The Level 2 Project Manager will provide leadership to project teams, acting as the primary liaison between Red River and its clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer expectations.

Primary Position Tasks:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure, collaboration, and cloud solution projects, including planning, procurement, delivery, installation, configuration, and testing.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project status reporting to multiple levels of stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Implement industry-standard project management best practices, processes, and methodologies to optimize project outcomes.
  • Act as the project advocate to remove roadblocks and ensure timely delivery, high quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, sales, and Red River’s valued customers.
  • Proactively identify and address project risks and issues, escalating as needed to maintain project stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Managed Services, to coordinate resource allocation and project activities.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to PMO initiatives by suggesting process improvements and sharing lessons learned from projects.
  • Other business duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated full-time experience in project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure or cloud projects.
  • At least three (3) years of project management experience in a lead project manager role.
  • Demonstrated experience as a lead deploying a minimum of three (3) complex IT infrastructure projects, including networking, collaboration, or cloud solutions.

Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred.
  • ITIL and Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Essential Elements:

  • This position requires up to 25% travel to client sites and Red River offices as needed.
  • The ability to effectively communicate with teams and stakeholders using Red River-approved tools is essential.
