What does a Project Manager do at Rain?

  • Client Support
    • Partners with Client Service on projects to ensure client's needs are met
  • Creative Project Management
    • Responsible for delivering projects on time, in-line with client expectations and on budget
    • Coordinates internal resources making sure that resources are correctly booked and managed
    • Actively monitors and manages client deliverables across agency teams including Brand Strategy & Research, Media Planning and Buying, Analytics, Creative and Production
    • Creates and maintains project documentation such as requesting project codes/job numbers, creating project schedules, creating estimates, providing financial summaries, documenting meeting notes and more
    • Executes campaign and research deliverables, with an ability to manage constantly shifting priorities and ensure on-time execution
    • Continuously notifies team and client on project progress, including keeping managers and account leaders apprised of client questions, feedback, changes, etc.
    • Manages the timing and receipt of client-provided creative assets
    • Archives final creative assets and working files
  • Media Project Management
    • Activate and manage the Media Activation Process assigning roles and responsibilities to other departments as needed
    • Regularly meeting with stakeholders, maintaining RainMAP documents and bi-weekly reporting

What do we look for in a Project Manager at our agency?

  • 3+ years’ experience
  • Prior media or creative agency experience required
  • PMI Project Management certification preferred
  • Must have experience managing creative projects from inception through completion
  • Basic knowledge/understanding in the following areas is a plus: creative development process, marketing and CRM concepts, brand strategy, digital media landscape, digital technologies, and video production.
  • Ability to translate client goals into tangible marketing solutions, using independent strategic thinking, while receiving guidance of senior team members
  • Excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-moving environment with a tolerance for surprises.
  • Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships within your project teams and throughout the agency
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet and the Google Suite
  • Impeccable attention to detail, exceptional organizational and analytical skills

Target Base Salary: $71-$87k/year

  • Base salary is determined by a wide range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job duties, and needs of the business. Base salary is one part of our total compensation package, which includes benefits, perks, and profit-sharing.
