Position Purpose: Plan, organize, monitor, and oversee complex projects utilizing cross functional teams to deliver defined requirements and meet company strategic objectives. This position will oversee critical enterprise interoperability initiatives with a focus on EMR integration for Risk Adjustment and Quality. This will involve oversight of vendors and processes that accomplish data exchange. While the goal is to automate all processes to work at enterprise scale, the ability to personally respond to tactical needs in the interim is critical, which will include solutioning and engineering to minimize delay. Similarly, this position will work to mature visibility and alerting around critical processes to detect and mitigate disruption. In the interim, it is necessary that a candidate can query, consolidate, and analyze data from disparate data sources to facilitate ad hoc reporting, then to accomplish the transition of those reporting requirements to IT deliverables.

Manage the full project life cycle, including review of various sources to assess requirements, creation of project plans and schedules, and facilitating project execution, deployment and closure.

Utilize corporate and industry standard project management tools and techniques to effectively manage projects. Establish and maintain corporate project management methodology and other department procedures.

Communicate project status to all stakeholders and external agencies.

Negotiate with project stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.

Coordinate cross-functional meetings with various functional areas to meet overall stakeholder expectations and company’s objectives.

Provide functional and technical knowledge across multiple business and technical areas.

Manage the creation of all project deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards including design documents, test plans, training materials, and operations documentation.
Education/Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.

8+ years of project management experience with departmental specific projects. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.

Proficient with MS-Office applications.

Healthcare and managed care experience preferred.

Understanding of Agile methodology is preferred.

Experience in risk adjustment operations or quality improvement in a healthcare related field strongly preferred.
Pay Range: $105,600.00 - $195,400.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
