Job Overview

Nasuni is rapidly scaling our strategic transformation initiatives, and the Strategic Programs team is seeking a talented Project Manager to drive critical business transformation projects. This role will be instrumental in executing high-impact initiatives that directly support our growth strategy and operational excellence.

The Project Manager will work closely with executive leadership, Vista's Value Creation Team, and external consulting partners, presenting an incredible opportunity for future career growth and connection to the Vista ecosystem.

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder projects while maintaining quality and timelines. The ideal candidate will be AI-forward in their approach, leveraging modern tools and automation to enhance project efficiency and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Execution:

  • Lead 3-4 concurrent strategic transformation projects including technology platform modernization, business process optimization, and operational enhancement initiatives
  • Serve as primary liaison between Nasuni leadership and external consulting partners across various workstreams
  • Manage project intake, chartering, planning, execution, risk management, and closure for all assigned initiatives
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Coordinate workstreams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and communication for complex, organization-wide initiatives
  • Lead project status meetings and executive reporting on progress, risks, and milestones
  • Manage change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes

Consultant Management & Integration:

  • Serve as day-to-day project lead for external consulting engagements, ensuring deliverables meet Nasuni standards and timelines
  • Coordinate consultant activities with internal teams to maximize value and minimize disruption
  • Track consultant performance, scope adherence, and budget management
  • Translate consultant recommendations into actionable internal implementation plans

Strategic Program Support:

  • Support the VP of Strategic Programs in portfolio management and strategic planning activities
  • Collaborate with Vista's Value Creation Team on strategic initiatives and best practice implementation
  • Contribute to the development of project governance frameworks and industry best practices
  • Assist with executive communications, board preparation, and strategic planning processes

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in technology transformation or strategic initiatives
  • Experience managing external vendor/consultant relationships
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects on time and within scope
  • Advanced proficiency in project management tools (AirTable, Microsoft Project, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools in current or previous roles to enhance productivity and project outcomes
  • Experience in a hands-on, innovative PMO/Project Management Office function, with a focus on delivering technology and transformation projects.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with technology implementation projects or business transformation initiatives
  • Background in SaaS, technology, or professional services environments
  • Familiarity with project management tools (AirTable, Microsoft Project, or similar)
  • Experience working with external vendors or consultants
  • Understanding of or interest in private equity portfolio company operations
  • Change management experience or exposure to organizational transformation
  • Active use of AI tools and automation in previous roles to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
