The Impact you will have in this role:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive IT Project Manager to support the delivery of strategic HR Technology initiatives. This role will be responsible for coordinating multiple squads working across Oracle HCM Cloud, HR integrations, benefits, payroll, talent, learning, and other HR technology projects.

The ideal candidate will bring strong project management, stakeholder management, Agile delivery, and IT governance experience. This individual will help create structure, drive execution, ensure adherence to Software Development Process (SDP) standards, and provide transparency across project portfolios. The role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Functional Leads, Architects, Delivery Teams, Vendors, and Business Stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of HR technology initiatives.

 

Your Primary Responsibilities:
 

  • Manage multiple concurrent HR technology projects and initiatives across various delivery squads.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource plans.
  • Track project health, risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and aligned with business priorities.
  • Facilitate project governance, status reviews, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Support Agile delivery practices across multiple squads.
  • Organize sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and delivery reviews.
  • Partner with Product Owners and Technical Leads to ensure user stories are properly documented and prioritized.
  • Track sprint commitments, delivery progress, and impediments.
  • Drive accountability and alignment across teams.
  • Administer and maintain JIRA boards, workflows, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Ensure requirements, defects, enhancements, and technical debt items are properly tracked.
  • Work with technology leads and business stakeholders to prioritize work based on business value and strategic objectives.
  • Develop reporting metrics and dashboards to provide visibility into delivery performance.
  • Guide teams on adherence to Software Development Process (SDP) standards and enterprise delivery practices.
  • Ensure required project artifacts, documentation, approvals, and controls are completed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate architecture reviews, risk assessments, testing activities, and production readiness reviews.
  • Support audit, compliance, and governance requirements as applicable.
  • Act as a liaison between HR, IT, Product Owners, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Vendors, and Delivery Teams.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and communication forums.
  • Ensure alignment on priorities, scope, timelines, and delivery expectations.
  • Escalate risks and issues appropriately while driving resolution.
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports, executive dashboards, RAID logs, and portfolio summaries.
  • Provide concise and accurate updates to leadership regarding project progress, risks, budget impacts, and resource needs.
  • Identify delivery bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, governance, communication, and team effectiveness.
  • Promote standardization, automation, and operational efficiencies.
  • Support implementation of AI-driven and modern project management practices where applicable.
  • Foster knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience, preferably supporting enterprise applications.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and Agile delivery teams.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience managing and administering JIRA, dashboards, workflows, and backlog management processes.
  • Experience creating project plans, resource plans, RAID logs, executive status reports, and governance materials.
  • Ability to coordinate activities across multiple squads and delivery workstreams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Business, Product, Technology, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience managing project risks, dependencies, and issue resolution processes.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and project reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting HR Technology initiatives, Oracle HCM Cloud, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Learning, or Workforce Management projects.
  • Understanding of SDP, architecture governance, and enterprise IT controls.
  • Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience with portfolio management and resource planning tools.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled project management and reporting solutions.
  • Exposure to cloud transformation, SaaS implementations, and systems integration projects.

 

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
