Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change

We are seeking someone to manage the development and implementation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Grid Edge applications. Lead the next generation of grid technology in Eversource’s new, cutting-edge Grid Edge Modernization lab. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of AMI systems, a proven history in project management, and a desire to create the grid of the future.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of AMI Grid Edge applications.
  • Demonstrate specific applications and use cases to internal and external stakeholders in the lab’s showroom.
  • Manage the design, testing, and deployment of AMI Grid Edge applications.
  • Provide vendor, contractor, and internal resource management.
  • Support road map for development projects, including defining scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct business case analysis to evaluate the financial and operational impacts.
  • Monitor and report on the performance, providing insights and actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies related to AMI Grid Edge applications.

Qualifications:

Education: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, related degree or the equivalent combination of education and related experience is required.
  • Advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible project management experience that includes: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling and Closing.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in business case analysis and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. Check out our careers site for an overview of our benefits programs. Salary is commensurate with your experience. This position is eligible for a potential incentive. The annual salary range for this position is:

$127,500.00-$141,670.00
