Description

Job Title: Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional software and data science projects across the LATAM region. This role requires fluency in Spanish and a strong background in managing client-facing initiatives in multicultural environments. You will be the key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring successful delivery of high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership:
  • Drive one or more concurrent projects from initiation to delivery, coordinating with internal technical teams and external clients.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Lead client meetings including demos, workshops, and steering committees. Communicate progress, risks, and decisions effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • End-to-End Ownership:
  • Manage scope, budget, timelines, resources, and change management processes.
  • Risk & Value Management:
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively. Ensure project outcomes align with business goals and deliver measurable value.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Facilitate internal ceremonies (daily stand-ups, refinements, retrospectives) and foster a collaborative, solution-oriented environment.
  • Consultative Approach:
  • Understand client needs and provide strategic guidance on solutions, balancing expectations and feasibility.
  • Product Familiarity:
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product and collaborate closely with the Product team to ensure alignment with client goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or related field.
  • One or more certifications: PMP, CSM, PSM, CSPO, KMP.
  • 5+ years of experience managing software development projects (Agile/Scrum and Waterfall).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with JIRA and other project management tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background as a Software Engineer or Data Scientist.
  • Experience managing Data Science projects and understanding the Data Science Life Cycle.
  • Proven success in leading discovery workshops and project kick-offs.
