About the Role:   

As a Project Engineer, you’ll manage all aspects of engineering on a project, nuts to bolts. And when your projects call for it, you’ll lead and mentor other members of our Engineering and Purchasing teams. We’ll appreciate your creative, solutions-oriented approach, your solid technical know-how, your impressive teamwork skills, and the way we can count on you to get things done - and get them done well. Sound like you? In this role, you will…

  • Participate as a member of a project team comprised of PM, Buyers, Customer Service, & others in order to successfully complete conveyor & material handling projects.  
  • Own and manage all engineering-related tasks on a project, including maintaining engineering schedules, budgets, & tracking engineering change orders.  
  • Lead conversations and drive results with vendors, and other suppliers to review & evaluate system & equipment designs.  
  • Review customer specifications to confirm adherence to these during design process.  
  • Provide technical support for the engineering process.  
  • Use AutoCAD and/or other drafting tools to complete system reviews, coordinate with .  

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related area.  
  • You are proficient in AutoCad and Navisworks; working knowledge of Inventor or other is a plus.  
  • You are familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within engineering, particularly in the material handling industry.  
  • You can apply some degree of creativity and latitude to solve problems.  
  • You are able to evaluate and accept project tasks with minimal direction; understanding delivery is based on project timelines.  
  • You have experience in leading, mentoring, or managing other team members.  
  • You work hard, you work well with others, and you’ve got a positive attitude
