PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE:
The Project Management Analyst supports the Technology Project Management team by enabling consistent, disciplined, and transparent delivery of technology initiatives. This role focuses on project governance, portfolio reporting, delivery analytics, and process improvement - helping project teams and leaders make informed decisions, identify risks early, and deliver successful outcomes.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews project documentation such as agendas, minutes, project plans, stakeholder updates, change requests, risk registers, and advises whether management escalation is required.
Creates monthly project portfolio reporting inclusive of resource analysis and evaluates and communicates potential technology resource or timing constraints.
Ensures accurate on-boarding and updating of approved projects, assuring appropriate tracking of project resource assignment and portfolio management.
Leads quality assurance activities including documentation collection, resource assessments, scheduling, and health tracking.
Drive team efforts to complete projects as efficiently as possible. Take an active role in identifying ways to leverage technology and automate processes.
- Analyze project demand and work with leadership on documenting desired outcomes, resource requirements and scheduling.
- Participates in special projects as needed to augment staffing to complete high priority projects
PROBLEM SOLVING & DECISION MAKING:
This position requires analytical thinking to evaluate project data, identify risks and trends, and recommend actions or escalation under senior supervision as needed and independently. Requires the ability to analyze information and draw specific conclusions and/or course of action recommendations based on performance and trends. Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills are required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience
2–4 years of experience supporting project management, technology delivery, and/ or banking operations / analytics
- Working in a fast-paced environment with experience in managing multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing work efforts.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or similar) a plus

- Highly organized, motivated, and demonstrate the ability to think creatively and critically and problem solve as well as the ability to think outside of the box.
- Strong attention to detail and consistent application to standard templates to all assigned projects.

- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with project team members and other stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
- Knowledge of financial services, risk‑based governance, or regulated environments preferred but not required

- Off-hours support and on-site support as needed, as defined within the scope of a specific project or program
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The employee frequently is required to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer. The employee is occasionally required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. They also occasionally travel to various company locations outside of the assigned work location, to attend meetings, trainings, events, and other business activities. The employee occasionally positions self to maintain or access files in file cabinets. The employee must have the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee frequently observes details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). The employee must occasionally lift and/or move boxes or equipment up to 20 pounds across office for various needs.
Work Environment
Persons holding this position are generally subject to inside environmental conditions having the lighting, temperature, and noise level of an open floor-plan office environment (moderate, but occasionally loud at times). This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
