Position Summary

This position is responsible for facilitating onboarding activities for Service Operations class hires prior to training. The role supports high-volume hiring classes spanning multiple lines of business and ensures a seamless transition for new colleagues. Key responsibilities include creating a welcoming environment, delivering new colleague orientation, assisting with initial equipment set up for new colleagues, checking system access for new colleagues, data tracking/trending and reporting, and oversees quality assurance of project execution activities.

 

  • Holds accountability for leading and coaching new colleagues through the onboarding experience while independently overseeing and leading the classroom environment

  • Tracks, measures, reports, and regularly communicates colleague progress and project status to management for effective project management.

  • Facilitate meaningful virtual and in-person learning experiences using a variety of tools and across a range of subject areas for new hire colleague onboarding training.

  • Manage logistics for learning programs as needed, including scheduling, preparing and disseminating training materials and coordinating with participants.

  • Assist as needed with handling access requests, equipment orders and assisting staff to trouble shoot system issues for new hires and existing staff within the call center.

  • Interacts with and collaborates with leadership to schedule, plan, and facilitate onboarding.

  • Assists in developing project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.

  • Collects, analyzes, and reports project data and metrics to track progress, identify trends, and provide insights for decision-making.

  • Conducts research and gathers information to support project planning, risk assessment, and problem-solving.

  • Communicates with cross-functional teams internally to gather requirements, define project objectives, and support the development of project deliverables.

  •  Maintains and updates databases and data repositories, managing data access, permissions, and security controls to protect sensitive information.

  • Contributes to the preparation and delivery of project presentations and reports for stakeholders and executive leadership.

  • Carries out support for project communication and stakeholder management through timely and effective communication.

  • Escalates the implementation and adoption of project management best practices within the organization to improve business processes.

  • Contributes to cross-functional initiatives that focus on improving data management processes, data quality, and data governance frameworks.

If you are based near the Hartford, CT office, this role is hybrid

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to travel as needed for onsite facilitation of onboarding new colleagues.
  • Proficient in collaboration and teamwork, with strong communication skills.
  • Experienced in planning, executing, and group facilitation.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, decision-making, and maintaining a growth mindset (adaptability and continuous development).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) and familiar with workflow applications such as Quickbase.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with onboarding new hire classes
  • Experience with facilitating and or training

Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Prior Relevant Work Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$21.10 - $44.99

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
