A design-build firm specializing in high-end modern residential & architectural roofing for buildings has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Construction Project Accountant.
DUTIES:
• Working experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billings for Construction Projects
• Reconciliations for Balance Sheet and P&L accounts. Reporting status of jobs to internal clients.
• Knowledge of documentation needed for acceptance of invoices in Accounts Payable
• Knowledge of loan draw packages and documentation needed
• Experience with billing owners on a monthly basis
• Experience with local property and business tax returns
• Add hoc reports as needed
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
• MUST have Timberline Accounting Software experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or some education courses in accounting or business administration
• Minimum of 5 years experience in construction industry, A/P, A/R, G/L
• Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office Software (Word and Excel).
• Strong service orientation
• Proficient in managing time
