About company

GC AI is currently an AI platform for in-house lawyers to 10x themselves. Using the latest LLMs, we are building AI agents that can use company knowledge, leverage external sources, and connect with internal tools to provide better and faster legal advice to the rest of the company. Thousands of weekly active users tell us they “cannot imagine their lives without GC AI” - which has led us to 95% retention and a NPS of 75.

This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build for a $1T annual market. We have jaw-dropping product-market fit - growing our customer base from 0 to 500+ legal teams in a year and 3X ARR growth in the last 4 months. Join our Series A stage rocket ship backed by top investors like Sound Ventures, Fellows Fund, Guillermo Rauch and Worklife Ventures. GC AI is a small but mighty team of lawyers, engineers, sellers and doers. Here, you’ll have infinite room to grow and rethink how legal work gets done.

Come build the future with us.

About the role:

We’re hiring a Programs Marketer to help scale our classes program and expand our CLE footprint. You’ll work closely with our Growth Marketing Manager to coordinate and execute AI classes for lawyers, apply for and manage CLE accreditations, and pitch in across a wide range of marketing initiatives. This is a builder role in a fast-moving startup where no two days look the same.

If you’re organized, resourceful, and comfortable rolling up your sleeves, you’ll be critical to how we deliver value to customers and drive demand for GC AI.

Why this role matters:

At GC AI, we’ve achieved jaw-dropping product–market fit and are scaling rapidly, but to keep up that momentum, we need marketing programs that fuel awareness, engagement, and growth. As our Program Marketer, you’ll be the architect of campaigns that connect our story to the market, generate pipeline, and enable our GTM teams to win. This role matters because you’ll translate our category-defining product into programs that reach the right audiences, showcase customer success, and reinforce GC AI as the leader in Legal AI.

What you'll do:
  • Support execution of our flagship class program: scheduling, logistics, promotion, and follow-up.

  • Manage CLE applications and compliance, working with providers and jurisdictions to secure and maintain approvals.

  • Track CLE deadlines, renewals, and reporting requirements.

  • Partner with Marketing to draft and publish class announcements, event pages, and follow-up comms.

  • Add and update course content in our Learning Management System.

  • Analyze class, CLE and comms performance metrics; suggest improvements to drive throughput and impact.

  • Contribute to other marketing projects such as content creation, event support, and campaign execution and community engagement.

  • Bring process rigor to how we track, store, and report on program activity.

Impact you'll have:
  • Accelerate growth by designing and running campaigns that drive pipeline and expand adoption across new customer segments.

  • Shape GC AI’s voice in the market by crafting messaging, programs, and assets that differentiate us in the fast-emerging AI landscape.

  • Fuel sales and customer success with enablement programs, content, and campaigns that help teams win and grow accounts.

  • Build community and advocacy by turning customer stories into proof points, events, and content that inspire and educate the market.

  • Drive measurable impact by owning program metrics (MQLs, pipeline contribution, campaign ROI) and continuously optimizing for performance.

  • Help define category leadership by supporting analyst relations, thought leadership, and flagship marketing initiatives.

Required Experience:
  • 3–4 years of experience in marketing, ideally in legal tech or SaaS, in a start-up environment.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills, clear, concise, and reliable.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Nice to have:
  • Experience in marketing to lawyers and legal professionals (or have a legal background yourself!)

  • Experience with HubSpot and Framer.

  • Passionate about AI and legal innovation.

  • Previous work with online classes and educational programs.

  • You have experience working with small-sized start-up companies.

The Mindset:
  • Problem Solver: You come alive tackling complex challenges without obvious solutions.

  • Ownership-Driven: You take initiative without needing direction and focus on outcomes.

  • Continuous Learner: Your curiosity drives you to constantly level up your engineering and design skills.

  • Startup DNA: You thrive in fast-paced environments where responsibilities evolve.

What we offer:
Growth & Impact
  • Shape the future of a rapidly growing startup

  • Direct collaboration with founding team

  • Real influence on company strategy and direction

  • A voice that matters - your ideas will be heard and implemented

Environment & Benefits

  • Competitive salary, equity and healthcare

  • We’re a hybrid company — many roles are remote-friendly, while some teams require meeting in person a couple of days a week in the Bay Area office.

  • High-energy, joyful team environment

  • Mentorship and learning opportunities

  • Clear path for growth in an expanding company

  • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and practices

  • Freedom to innovate and own crucial systems

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
