Role Overview

The Programme Manager will lead a global team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, and contingent resources to deliver complex, high-impact programmes using Agile methodologies. The initial focus will be on the Business Data Architecture Programme, a strategic initiative to enhance the Bank’s Business Architecture Platform with resilience and governance capabilities. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep programme delivery expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving transformation in a dynamic, global environment.
This positions requires hybrid - work twice a week from Kraków.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Leadership & Delivery

  • Own end-to-end delivery of the Business Architecture programme, including roadmap execution and adoption planning.
  • Define and drive programme delivery strategy across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s Change Framework.
  • Lead global teams of Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and PMOs to deliver on time, within scope and budget.
  • Oversee programme governance, reporting, and benefits realization (OKRs).
  • Manage intake and triage of new change initiatives, defining scope, requirements, and budget.

Stakeholder & Resource Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including ExCo and Managing Directors.
  • Partner with Product Owners and SMEs for annual planning and forecasting.
  • Own resource planning and budgeting, including third-party contract negotiations and oversight.
  • Serve as an escalation point for risk, issue, and dependency management.

Agile & Change Management

  • Apply Agile methodologies to programme and product development.
  • Establish delivery dashboards and reporting using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Promote consistency and quality through effective controls and adherence to the Bank’s Risk and Controls framework.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for a global team.
  • Foster a high-performance culture and support career development of team members.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Programme Management or Delivery Lead roles within large, complex global environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering strategic programmes in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of data and business architecture, ideally with ARIS platform experience.
  • Expertise in Agile delivery frameworks (e.g., SAFe certification preferred).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing global teams and working in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in change management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
