The Program Manager oversees multiple projects, supports project managers, aligns strategic objectives, and provides executive support to the VP of Services.
The Program Manager will act as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Services and play a key role in setting up the services implementation and support structure and in supporting the project managers implementing projects across the globe. The Program Manager will oversee and guide these projects, ensuring they align with the company's methodologies and objectives. This position requires exceptional program/project management, organizational, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the project managers and facilitate project delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Oversee and monitor the progress of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are on track, within budget, and meet quality standards
- Implementation Support: Guide and support project managers, providing direction, support, and guidance to ensure adherence to company methodologies and standards.
- Strategic Alignment: Work closely with the Vice President of Services to align project activities with the overall strategic objectives of the company
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization in services delivery, driving efficiency and effectiveness
- Risk Management: Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks, escalating issues as needed.
- Reporting: Update VP services on the projects progress and status on a regular basis
- Administrative Support: Provide executive-level administrative support to the Vice President of Services, managing schedules, correspondence, and travel arrangements.
- Travel: Travel as required to the project locations 50-75% yearly
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Business Administration or Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in project management or program coordination, with implementing ERP solutions for a minimum of 5 years, preferably in the public sector.
- Certification: Must have PMP or Prince 2 Certification
- Domain Knowledge: Domain knowledge in finance or human capital will be an added advantage.

- Mentoring: Ability to lead and guide project managers, providing direction, support, and motivation.

- Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve project issues and risks in a timely and effective manner.
- Interpersonal: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Software: Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
