The Program Manager leads strategic programs from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering measurable benefits. This role oversees planning, execution, governance, and resource management across multiple projects within a program.

Responsibilities

  • Define program scope, objectives, and roadmap in alignment with organizational strategy.

  • Establish and maintain governance structures for effective decision-making.

  • Foster stakeholder engagement and transparent communication.

  • Develop and manage program budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor progress against KPIs, milestones, and deliverables; ensure quality standards.

  • Coordinate interdependencies across projects and resolve issues impacting progress.

  • Provide regular reporting to executives and senior leadership.

  • Drive benefit realization and conduct post-implementation reviews.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Expertise in program governance, budgeting, and resource planning.

  • Proficiency in risk management and change control processes.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level reporting.

  • Familiarity with program management tools and methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Lean).

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 7+ years in program or project management, with experience managing complex, multi-year

    programs.

  • Proven track record of delivering strategic initiatives and measurable outcomes.

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent preferred.

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $81,400 -- $157,100 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location. 

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
