Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for a Senior-level Program Manager to join a strong team supporting our government customer. As a member of our team, you will join a diverse group of driven professionals who design the products and systems that support enhanced capabilities, protect national security, and keep critical information and infrastructure secure. The Program Manager will:

  • Be responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
  • Take projects from original concept through final implementation.
  • Interface with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
  • Define project scope and objectives.
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Conduct project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
  • Manage the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and review vendor deliverables.
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team.
  • Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.


Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience recommended. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.
  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
  • Plans and leads major technology assignments.
  • Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
  • May supervise others.
  • Experience with Atlassian Software products (JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk, etc.)
  • Certifications: PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118504 - $201457
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
