Job Location:
San Jose, CA and San Francisco, CA
Duties:
Oversee and manage the refurbishment program for returned units; track and report weekly metrics, including the number of units received, processed, and ready for shipment; collaborate with third-party refurbishment providers to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of operations, including identifying opportunities to optimize unit processing throughput (UPH) and minimizing costs per unit; ensure all returned units undergo appropriate testing, cleaning and repackaging processes; develop and improve procedures for mechanical testing, including system-level testing and debugging; manage the repair process for damaged units and ensure efficient handling and troubleshooting of complex technical and mechanical issues; monitor and analyze refurbishment costs to develop strategies for reducing expenses while increasing productivity; and provide detailed reports to upper management on program performance, cost control, and improvement strategies.
Job Requirements:
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or foreign equivalent, plus 2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.
Salary Range:
Salary Offered: $130,000 to $150,000 per year.
