This individual will be responsible for building an end-to-end project plan for all DI product launches, as well as managing the integration of those launches into a program level plan. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- End-to-End Execution: Oversee every phase of program execution-from initial concept and requirements gathering, through design, development, launch, and post-launch activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Create an environment of collaboration, ownership and accountability within the core and extended teams to coordinate efforts, resolve conflicts, and drive results.
- Stakeholder Management: Ensure stakeholders are actively engaged, proactively communicate program status, risks, and milestones. Partner with Head of Health & Worksite Products to facilitate regular steering committee meetings.
- Resource Planning: Ensure ongoing assessment of resource needs to ensure that program deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Timeline and Milestone Tracking: Develop and manage detailed project plans, Gantt charts, and milestone trackers to ensure timely delivery and transparency.
- Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact program success. Develop contingency plans and escalate timely as appropriate.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor quality standards and ensure deliverables meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and organizational benchmarks.
- Metrics and Reporting: Ensure Program key performance indicators (KPIs) are shared across the team and there is alignment on success metrics for the program. Regularly report progress, outcomes, and lessons learned to stakeholders and leadership.
- Continuous Improvement: Share in the ownership of the Product Development Lifecycle by championing a culture of ongoing improvement, leveraging feedback, data, and best practices to refine processes and enhance future program execution.
The Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 7+ years of project/program management experience
- 1+ year product launch and go-to-market experience, particularly within financial services, Insurance or fintech.
The Ideal Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing end-to-end product launches, from ideation through delivery.
- Advanced certifications in program or project management (PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, etc.)
- Experience in lifecycle product management within life insurance, health, or wellness products.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and solve problems creatively.
- Track record of building high-performance teams and fostering collaborative environments.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Strong negotiation skills
