We have an opportunity for a Senior Program Manager, M&A Integration - IT Systems and Tools contractor to join our Office of the President team in a remote capacity in the Western US in an initial 6-month contract, reporting to the Senior Program Manager, Integration Management Office. In this pivotal role, you will lead cross-functional planning and execution for systems, processes, and tools integration across the M&A lifecycle. You will serve as the program management connective layer across IT, Information Security, People, Finance, Product, Sales, Support, and acquired-company teams, helping ensure Day 1 readiness, reduce operational disruption, and deliver a coordinated path to the target state.

Collaborating closely with executive sponsors, workstream leads, technical teams, and business stakeholders, you will manage milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and readiness reporting across application, infrastructure, identity, access, data, collaboration, and end-user technology domains. You will also help evolve repeatable integration practices and responsibly apply AI-enabled productivity, analytics, and automation tools to improve program visibility and execution.

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do

  • Own the integrated IT systems and tools workplan across pre-close, Day 1, post-close, and target-state integration phases
  • Coordinate systems inventory, application rationalization, migration readiness, data movement, and legacy-tool retirement activities
  • Establish milestones, dependencies, critical path items, risks, issues, decisions, and readiness checkpoints across technical and business teams
  • Run cross-functional working sessions and operating cadences that drive accountability, resolve blockers, and maintain alignment
  • Partner with IT, Information Security, HR, Finance, Sales, Product, Support, and acquired-company stakeholders to define sequencing, ownership, and transition requirements
  • Track identity, access, endpoint, network, collaboration, infrastructure, security, and business-application readiness for close and post-close operations
  • Prepare concise executive updates that summarize progress, critical decisions, risks, dependencies, resource needs, and value realization
  • Maintain integrated plans, RAID logs, decision registers, dashboards, playbooks, cutover plans, and transition documentation
  • Use Microsoft 365, Teams, Planner, SharePoint, Power BI, and approved AI capabilities such as Copilot to summarize meetings, draft status content, analyze program data, identify action-item trends, and reduce follow-up effort while validating outputs and protecting confidential information
  • Define and monitor measures such as integration completion, tooling consolidation, service readiness, security posture, operational stability, and technology synergy realization

Be Prepared — What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in program management, technology integration, IT transformation, PMO, or strategic operations
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional technology programs with executive visibility and dependent workstreams
  • Demonstrated experience with M&A integration, enterprise transformation, systems consolidation, or operating-model change
  • Expertise in integrated planning, milestone management, RAID tracking, dependency management, cutover readiness, and executive reporting
  • Working knowledge of enterprise applications, infrastructure, identity and access, cybersecurity, data, collaboration tools, and end-user technology
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Power BI, or comparable program-management platforms
  • Practical experience using AI-enabled tools for productivity, reporting, data analysis, workflow automation, or decision support, with sound judgment regarding privacy, security, accuracy, and human review
  • Proven ability to translate ambiguity into clear plans, decisions, owners, and outcomes while balancing strategic priorities with execution detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and facilitate decisions across functions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree and/or relevant project management certification preferred
