The Role

The Program Manager for the Demo & Ops Engineering team will play a critical role in driving the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact demo programs. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative and compelling demos that showcase our products and solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering demo & operational engineering projects on time and within scope.

 

The Team

As a Program Manager for Demo & Ops Engineering at Ping Identity, you will play a key role in being a member of a world-class centralized Technical Enablement team . The Technical Enablement team fosters the cultural synergy between our Partners, sales engineering, selling pods and product engineering to be at the forefront of the latest and greatest at Ping. This role will report into the Director, Demo & Ops Engineering.

 

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Track progress across sprints, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines.
  • Monitor risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Agile Process Management:

  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and continuously improves its processes.
  • Manage backlog grooming in collaboration with the Senior Manager and Director.

Team Coordination:

  • Act as the bridge between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent communication.
  • Balance workload distribution across team members to prevent burnout and ensure efficiency.
  • Maintain a visible, organized sprint board to track deliverables and dependencies.

Issue Resolution:

  • Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or roadblocks impacting team productivity.
  • Escalate issues to the Director or Senior Manager when necessary.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • 1-4 years of experience in program management, preferably in a software or technology company.
  • 1-4 years of experience managing technical programs or projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and demo engineering processes.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
  • Technical aptitude and ability to understand complex technical concepts.

Preferred Skills/Abilities

  • Expertise with Ping products and services
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with demo creation tools and technologies.

Base Hiring Range: $110,000-$122,000

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
