Position: Program Manager, Data Governance and Stewardship
Location: Wilmington, MA
Overview:
As Program Manager, Data Governance and Stewardship, you will design and deliver the governance and stewardship framework for enterprise data and analytics at Analog Devices. This critical role will ensure compliance with corporate data asset protection policies, regulatory compliance with global data privacy and AI laws, and adherence to the data quality standards defined by the business.
Responsibilities
Framework & Regulatory Strategy
Lead the Design: Architect the end-to-end data governance and stewardship framework to scale with the business.
Compliance & Privacy: Partner with Legal/HR to ensure global compliance (GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act) and automate Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR).
Policy Setting: Establish the official standards, procedures, and data dictionaries that define how the company handles its information.
Stakeholder Leadership & Advocacy
Business Alignment: Collaborate with business owners to identify critical data elements and define their authoritative sources.
Data Stewardship: Establish your role as data steward as you build relationships with the business. Facilitate the Data Governance Council, drive consensus on data decisions, and provide training to business users.
Culture & Insights: Champion a data-driven culture by translating complex data concepts into compliance reports for senior leadership.
Product & Subject Matter Expertise
Data Lineage: Develop deep expertise in the organization’s strategic data sources and how data flows through the system. Implement lineage solution for the company and develop a process to ensure alignment with colleagues in domain data and analytics teams.
Strategic Advisory: Scope business challenges and provide direction to analysts, data scientists, and product managers to improve data products.
Technical Execution & Tooling
Cloud Governance: Implement governance via Unity Catalog (Databricks) and Horizon (Snowflake).
Quality Control: Design monitoring frameworks, data profiling, and remediation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Engineering Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineering and Architects to build resilient data feeds and ensure all architecture aligns with governance standards.
Qualifications
Proven Track Record
Experience: 5+ years in data governance/engineering, specifically having completed at least 3 full-scale implementations.
Education: Technical degree (CS, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or similar).
Technical Depth
Core Systems: Deep proficiency in SQL and Lakehouse/Database tech (Snowflake, Databricks, SQL Server).
Governance Stack: Familiarity with industry tools like Collibra, Alation, or Informatica.
Lifecycle Management: Experience architecting and owning Data Products from rollout through their entire lifecycle.
Leadership & Influence
Mentorship: Experience leading and mentoring junior technical staff using modern dev practices.
Soft Power: A "peer influencer" who can establish credibility and lead cross-functional teams.
Communication: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high commitment to data accuracy.
Domain Experience
Semiconductor or other manufacturing industry experience (preferred, but not required)

Shift Type: 1st Shift/DaysThe expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $157,080 to $227,460.
Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
